Open Call Opportunities
Call for Entry
To show in an exhibition, artists are invited to submit an application when a Call For Entry goes out; this includes our All Media Exhibition, Art for the Holidays (Nov./Dec.), and might include other shows during the year, depending on the schedule. Applicants are required to join as a member or renew. In some instances, an entry fee will apply. Calls for Entry are sent through email blasts, posted on our Facebook Page, posted on our website, and available at the gallery.
Find current calls for entry on our Call For Entry page.
Opportunities for Artist Members
Elements Gallery is our year-round sales gallery, which features a wide range of work—jewelry, ceramics, paintings, sculpture, and textiles—that is refreshed throughout the year. We review works on an ongoing basis and invite our Member Artists to participate. Member Artists who would like their work to be considered for this curated space may email Matt Fry at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule an appointment.
Visit our elements gallery page for more information.
Art Placement Program
Art Placement is a service whereby we curate spaces for area business and residential clients using artwork from our artist members. DAM staff works with clients to assess spatial needs, budget, and aesthetic preferences. Once purchased, DAM’s professional art handler delivers and installs the artwork.
Visit our art placement page for more information.
The DAM Artist Database provides a page for artist members that includes up to ten images and an artist statement. The Database provides our members great visibility, educates the public about their work, and serves as a tool for Art Placement clients and collectors. Members, contact Matt Fry at 313-832-8540 if you have content for the database. Art Placement clients, contact Matt Fry for art pricing, availability, and more images.
Featured Artist Wall
DAM’s Featured Artist wall highlights a singular body of work from member and non-member artists. This space, located near the entrance, rotates to coincide with each new exhibition.
