Laura Fawaz

Laura Fawaz is a photojournalist not only by degree, but also by passion. As a child, she would always take her mom’s cameras to take pictures of anything and anyone. Her passion for photography grew in high school when she took her first official photography class and was introduced to working in the dark room. Laura’s gallery photos are best known for the attention to detail; weather its water droplets on flowers, or of the vibrant, colorful skyline, or of a spring sunrise. Born and raised in Michigan, Laura has a bachelor’s degree from Oakland University in broadcast journalism, and a double minor in Studio Art, focus in photography, and Islamic Studies. She began her photographic career by simply noticing the beauty around her, and wanting to somehow hold on it to. Laura also takes professional portraits at weddings, launch parties, engagements, birthday parties, and kid’s photo shoots.
