On The Way To The Train Station – Triptych
Bold colors and texture are essential elements in my art. My style has evolved. I am feeling freer than in years past—more relaxed, less pressured to do things perfectly. I am truly enjoying developing each of my works, which usually start with an idea or reference from my notebook, where I write my thoughts about circumstances or questions that pop into my mind as I go about my day. Sometimes I also like to paint over old paintings, allowing parts of the prior painting to come into new life as a new work develops spontaneously. I am currently working on abstract projects and occasionally in a more realistic style. Art makes me happy, and while painting, I can easily forget that physically, I am not up to my full strength.
