Jarie Saad Ruddy is a Metro Detroit–based artist whose mixed-media photo collages explore family history, migration, and belonging. Drawing from photographs of her family's journey from Lebanon and Sicily to Detroit, she layers images, historical references, and cultural iconography to create imagined narratives that bridge past and present. Each work serves as an homage to the rich diasporic traditions that shape her identity, examining the intersections of memory, place, and material culture across generations.
Opening Reception: Friday, July 17, 2026 5-8pm
