Stephany Latham (b. 1986, Cincinnati, OH) is an artist living and working in Detroit, MI, whose work explores traditional and contemporary methods of handweaving, natural dye applications, and foundry metal sculpture. She received her Master of Arts from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and holds a dual career as an Art Therapist. Stephany has exhibited nationally and taught workshops on weaving and natural dyeing throughout the Midwest. Her recent residencies include a sculpture fellowship at the Vermont Studio Center, textile and natural dye research at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, and a digital weaving residency at Praxis Fiber Workshop.
