It also deepens our community connections as we partner with Metro Detroit small businesses and entrepreneurs to provide food, beverages, and live entertainment for the . This year, we are excited to introduce new family-friendly activities, including a kids’ arts and crafts station!
For over 90 years, DAM has been dedicated to supporting Metro Detroit’s artists, and this commitment remains strong. Despite the challenges of the past few years, including significant declines in sales and income for many artists due to the global pandemic, we are now focused on recovery and revitalization. DAM’s Summer Block Party is crucial to this effort, creating accessible opportunities for artists to showcase and sell their work while allowing the public to explore the talents of local creatives.
