Robert Beras is a photographic artist based in Lathrup Village whose work explores the intersection of memory, atmosphere, and dream imagery. Drawing from both documentary and conceptual traditions, he creates emotionally resonant photographs that blur the boundary between reality and imagination. His work has been exhibited in galleries and publications, and he continues to develop long-form photographic projects centered on narrative and psychological space.

Artist Statement

I use photography to explore the tension between reality and perception. Drawn to fleeting moments, layered narratives, and atmospheric spaces, my work often feels suspended between waking life and dreams. Rather than documenting the world as it appears, I am interested in creating images that evoke memory, emotion, and the psychological weight carried beneath everyday experience.
