Detroit Artists Market and College for Creative Studies Present: Dope Women in Media

Dope Women in Media celebrates the groundbreaking contributions of women in media arts. Featuring work by Detroit-based artists, the show explores intersections of film, video, photography, and new media—highlighting personal and social themes shaping contemporary culture.

Through bold, experimental, and critical practices, the exhibition shines a spotlight on the powerful voices of Detroit women working in art, filmmaking, and storytelling.

Opening Reception

Join us for a free, public opening reception on Friday, June 20, from 5–8 p.m. at the CCS Center Galleries. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the curator and artists, and be among the first to experience the exhibition.
