Transformation is the process of change. It is a marked change, as in appearance or character, usually for the better. We consistently experience change in our everyday lives but transformation is something more conspicuous and special. It may be on a spiritual level or simple changes that lead to something momentous or in physical changes. We have all seen the transformative changes progressing in Detroit and we can see it in our own personal lives. In this exhibition seven very distinct artists were selected to share what is transformative in their lives and work.
Participating Artists: Christopher Corey Allen, Noura Ballout, Coco Bruner, Ray Katz, Carlo Vitale, S. Kay Young, Alivia Zivich.
